While at Pomme de Terre, a conveniently located lake, there are a large number of tourist attractions within a hours drive or less.  There are some on the map and they are located in Springfield or the surrounding area.  There are others and I will name a few of them and give you the names and if you wish directions on how to get there from wherever you are staying.

Hatchery at Warsaw, Shop at Camdenton, Shopping Center at Osage Beach, Bennett Springs trout fishing, Shop in Bolivar, Many things to do around Lake of the Ozarks, this is a major draw.
Outlet Malls in Lebanon and Osage Beach, Branson and Silver Dollar City a two hour drive right down Highway 65 and there are more.
