This 37" was caught 4-23-2011 - take a look at the
tail, this is right after the spawn - this fish was really beat up when
I caught it. If the tail was intact it would probably have been
close to 39". I just went out because it looked like a muskie day
and caught it 10 minutes after putting the lure in the water, but it was
right where I thought I could catch one.
Sorry about the bad picture
but when you fish alone you have to take the picture anyway.

Paul Summerville and a nice bass we caught while trolling for muskie.
We were trolling a smaller muskie bait in 40' of water when this bass
hit. |

Josh and a very nice 32"
caught a cool windy day. It pays to go out on
a muskie day, even if you get a little cold. This was a fat,
healthy muskie. |
|
Caught this 32" on 6-22-11, believe it or
not the water temperature is 78 degrees. This muskie and the 36" were
both very heavy fish and looked real healthy. Excuse the bad
pictures, can't do it all. |

 |
| This 36" muskie caught on
6-22-11 was a very heavy fish, I lost a third muskie while casting.
It hit and then got off right next to the boat. It was a 30".
I would like a few more days catching them like this. Just messing
around by myself so you have to overlook the bad pictures. Never
took the fish out of the water. Even took a picture of me taking a
picture of the 'ski |
|
This really nice 38" was
caught on 6-24-11, I hope this water never gets any warmer but I know it
is going to. Not pictured because someone forgot the camera a 36"
that I caught on 6-23-11. All these muskies were caught on
the same lure. I guess they didn't like my other lure. |

 |
| Tim Tracy and a couple of
walleye we caught on 6-24-11. I caught one, not pictured on a
Believer while trolling for muskies. Been a very good year for
walleyes. Like I tell everyone when a 15" walleye comes in my boat
it does not leave it... Tim's son is in the background. |
|
This was really a nasty looking storm
that came through on 6-27-11, chased me off of the lake and the walleye
were really starting to hit. It really got windy and cold on the
lake. I had to put my rain suit on to stay warm. this is
looking east toward the dam. The look to the west was the same
thing. |

My oldest son, Earle III, and his two
boys Gradon & Mason.
Gradon, on the left, caught the three fish, a carp and 2 walleye.
Mason on the right caught the 22" walleye/ |

|
 |
These walleye were caught by
me on 7-6-11, the longest was 19" and the shortest was 16.5".
They look good here but better in the zip lock bag in the freezer.
The golden rule is 15". |

Meghan, Tommy & Colton with a nice
catfish that was released back into the water to be caught again by
someone in the future. |
 |
|
 |
| Colton with a nice crappie he
caught trolling on the flats during the hot dog days of summer and this
year that is just what it was.....HOT!!!! |
|
Meghan with a nice bass caught trolling
close to the dam. |
 |
|
 |
| My neighbor Joe Portman and
his first walleye ever, a very nice 25 incher. We decided to go
out in the evening and were rewarded with this and an nice lightning
show to the south of us as we trolled around the flats on 8-22-11. |
|
Meghan with a rare white bass caught this
year.... the white bass are making a comeback after a die off that took
place a couple of years ago. According to the lake biologist
when they did the walleye shocking in March of this year they found a
bunch of white bass this size in the walleye areas and that they are
coming back, slowly but surely.... |

This 31" was landed on 9-6-11
not pictured is a 32" caught the day before because someone left his
camera at home. |

This 31" was landed on 9-7-11 |

 |
| John Southard caught this
little fellow on 9-6-11 and it hit the lure like a giant. Just
look at him wanting to get a hold of John..... |
|
John caught this bass on a 9" grandma
while we were trolling and John was talking about "harpooning a
whale"...... |
 |
|
 |
| Caught this 33 on 9-8-11 |
|
Caught this 32 on 9-13-11 The
muskie bite really suffered when we had that
stretch of really hot weather. Caught another muskie on the 10th
that has no picture, a 38". |

Paul Olejniczak caught this
nice bass while fishing for muskie on 9-15-11, I think it was on his
fourth cast of the day. |
|
Paul Olejniczak caught this fighting 34"
after a very good battle on 9-15-11.
